Community Service/Volunteer Opportunities
Westhampton Free Library:
- Volunteer Fridays - Earn community service for volunteering in the teen room. Tasks may include cleaning, organizing books, and other materials, as well as program preparation. Limited spots available. Please sign up with a Teen Blvd. Librarian. (Will start back up in September 2014)
- Teen Reviews - If you review a book published since 2010, you will receive 3 hours of community service per review. All reviews should be submitted to our teen blog. See Miss Amelia for more details.
- Community Bookmarks - Get creative for the community! Design bookmarks that will be distributed to Westhampton Free Library patrons. Four bookmarks will equal an hour of community service. Check near the bulletin board in Teen Blvd. for available bookmarks. When complete, return to a Teen Blvd. Librarian. (Will start back up in September 2014)
